Move thorough an exploration of invigorating backbends! Backbends powerfully open the heart and hips, increase flexibility and strength, bring balance to the body, and create optimal back health.
Emily will mindfully guide how to achieve deeper, healthier backbends in your practice. This workshop begins with a flow through preparatory poses aimed at opening up and strengthening areas of the body that support back-bending. You’ll then work with backbends like upward dog, wheel, and camel and explore more advanced and lively variations.
Join us on Sunday, 11/10 from 12-2pm! This workshop is appropriate for anyone who has a good foundation with yoga and wants to deepen their backbending practice.
