Kids ages 5-10 learn healthy, calming and engaging yoga while having fun, playing games and getting creative. Nurturing mom of two, nurse and skilled yoga instructor, Leah will introduce kids to breathwork, yoga poses and relaxation while incorporating games, books and creativity. Yoga helps kids gain confidence, awareness, focus, calm, healthy activity,and, of course!, play.
No prior yoga experience necessary. Children should wear comfortable, stretchy clothes like tanks, tees, shorts and leggings.
Dates: 4 Wednesdays: July 11, 18, & 25, and August 1. 10:30-11:30am
Price: $50/child for the 4-part series.
About Leah: The profound medicinal effects of yoga and meditation have played a life changing role over Leah’s fifteen years of practice. Yoga provides her with a beautiful place to simply and effectively connect to the breath and quiet the mind . As a Registered Nurse, with a passion for health and wellness, Leah became a yoga teacher under the guidance of Sarahjoy Marsh. As a teacher, she feels compelled and passionate about sharing yoga, and making it accessible to all ages and abilities .
